Inspired by an excursion through Canada's largest and densest forest landscapes, my "Into the Woods" painting series features the fierce, native creatures of the woods. Vibrant and transparent layers of dripping paint, abstract shapes, and loose brushstrokes combine to build the larger-than-life representations of these mighty beings, rich in visual and textural intrigue, boldly staring eye to eye with the viewer.
